Growing up in Mundelein and graduating from Mundelein High School, I later earned my Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Finance from Loyola University. Career & Experience
My real estate involvement spans many years and multiple roles—from selling homes to investing and managing personal rental properties since 1991. Today, I serve as the Managing Broker and owner of Grand Realty Group, Inc., proudly located in our fully renovated vintage building in downtown Lake Villa. My mission is to guide landlords, sellers, and homebuyers with clarity, expertise, and a commitment to exceptional service.
Life Beyond Real Estate
When I’m not working with clients, you’ll find me outdoors. I enjoy boating, off-roading, snowmobiling, and spending time at our cabin in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
I also enjoy woodworking, it allows me to work with my hands, stay creative, and bring new ideas to life. It’s a hobby that blends attention to detail and craftsmanship—qualities I bring to my real estate work as well.
I was a stay-at-home mom for our two boys for 9 years until our youngest son started first grade when I began my journey here at Grand Realty Group. I’ve worn many different hats here- currently I keep the books, run marketing for the company and work on special projects. I have a design background which I utilize with our property management clients between residents and with sellers prior to listing. I can help anywhere from selecting paint and carpet colors to entire kitchens or complete property makeovers. Outside of the office I enjoy cooking, baking, making charcuterie boards, painting, cycling, spending time outside or being with family and friends.
Tammy is a seasoned and highly accomplished real estate professional, who has dedicated the past two decades to helping others with all their real estate needs. Whether buying, selling, renting, or investing, Tammy can assist. Jose Moreno has been an integral part of Grand Realty Group for more than a decade, serving as our trusted Maintenance Manager. With over 10 years of hands-on experience, Jose brings exceptional skill and reliability to every repair and project works on. His expertise spans a wide range of areas, including remodeling, general home repairs, light electrical and plumbing work, roofing, and many other essential maintenance services.
Jose’s dedication, versatility, and problem-solving ability make him an invaluable resource to both our team and the clients we serve.
Outside of work, Jose enjoys spending time outdoors. He enjoys kayaking and proud father of three.
Tim has been a Realtor since 2005 and specializes in finding the right fit for buyers. He has also been a real estate investor since 1997. Tim has much experience with foreclosures, short sales, and other unique situations. He enjoys the uniqueness of real estate markets and loves old homes.
Jeff has been a Lake County resident since 1986, and has had his Real Estate License since 1996. He is a licensed electrical contractor, general contractor, and has been remodeling homes for nearly 20 years! This experience gives Jeff a distinct advantage in the used housing market.
